Edy's Pumpkin Ice Cream

Long after Dairy Queen closes, Edy's is still churning out its delicious pumpkin ice cream.  I have bought it every year for the last three years.  It's pumpkin-y, sweet, and spicy.  My husband had a try and said, "no, don't like it, too spicy."  He's not a fan of pumpkin desserts and all the spices.  When it comes to ice cream, it has to be chocolate or bust!  I, on the other hand, do not discriminate against any type of dessert!  This pumpkin ice cream is a unique way to welcome fall in your kitchen.

About this ice cream: it's not a pumpkin PIE ice cream - there are no pie pieces.  It lists pumpkin as an ingredient, which is definitely a good thing.  It has 120 calories per 1/2 cup serving.

Something that is especially delicious with this ice cream is dipping spice wafers in them.  So good!  But not as good as dipping them in my sister's pumpkin dip.

With chocolate chips and autumn-colored jimmies.

Husband's ice cream and my ice cream.
There you have it! This week, I'll post about Tastykake pumpkin pie, homemade pumpkin spice lattes, pumpkin bagels AND ...... pumpkin pie with homemade crust!
